How It Works
Every tool on ImageAnchor uses browser-native APIs and JavaScript libraries to process your files entirely on your device. When you compress an image, the compression happens using the HTML5 Canvas API. When you convert a PDF, the processing is done by pdf-lib running in your browser tab. Nothing is sent to any server.
This approach means your files are private, processing is instant, and the tools work even offline once the page has loaded.
