Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 1, 2026

Overview

ImageAnchor ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. Our tools are designed with privacy as a core principle — all image processing happens locally in your browser.

Image Processing

Your images are never uploaded to our servers. All image compression, conversion, resizing, cropping, and editing operations are performed entirely within your web browser using client-side JavaScript. Your files remain on your device at all times and are not transmitted to any external server.

Analytics Data

We use privacy-friendly analytics (Umami) to understand how visitors use our site. This collects anonymized data including:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Referring website (where you came from)
  • Browser type and operating system (anonymized)
  • Country-level location (not precise location)

We do not use Google Analytics or any tracking that creates personal profiles. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

Cookies

ImageAnchor does not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party cookies. Our analytics provider uses a single first-party cookie to distinguish unique visits. No cookie consent banner is required because we do not use non-essential cookies.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google Fonts — to load typography. Google may log font requests per their privacy policy.
  • Umami Analytics — privacy-first, GDPR-compliant analytics.

Children's Privacy

ImageAnchor is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
